In a city without a protector, a mechanic named Marcus struggles to make a living in a hopeless neighborhood. Safety is little more than a dream... until he discovers a powerful battle suit designed by the city's lost guardian.
However, the violence and carnage that ensues begs the question:
Is this armor truly a force for good, and if not... How can it be stopped?

The Project

Inspired by "The Batman 2022", Torment is a passion project from award-winning indie directors Ben Chatfield and Derrick Lynn. This short film dives into a pitch-black world where Batman is dead, crime is rampant, and the only thing protecting the streets is a hellish parody of the beloved Dark Knight.
The line between justice and a bloodbath no longer exists in this horrific thriller short film.
